My interest in photography developed, ( pun intended ), over the same period that I studied as a graphic design student.
However, the cameras required rolls of film, which were very messy to process… this dampened my enthusiasm somewhat!!
Digital photography entered my life through my love of Astronomy. During the summer holidays, after my 2nd yr at University, I spent long hours building a ‘Cookbook 245’ CCD camera.
There was no messy processing of film, just wonderful grainy grey scale computer images.
They were instant, and a revelation + I had become an astrophotographer!!
Later still I became fascinated by anaglyph (3D) image creation, of which many examples have been featured online.
